About Dezperate Actor and Steve Dez
My name is Steve Dez. I’m a professional working actor since 2011 and just like you I had no clue how or where to start my career. But it’s nothing special. Now, I wake up whenever I want, unless I have a demanding call time hehe, and tell my P.A. to make me an avocado toast just like everyone else xD.
Ok, I don’t have a P.A, only when I’m on set *wink*.
I started teaching other actors how to break into Hollywood in 2015 because I know how complicated figuring it all out by yourself can be, so I created the online course to help people just like you through my program called Dezperate Actor – Cracking The Hollywood Code. The program and this site now helps hundreds of actors every year but it took 7 years.
In January 2022 (My Birthday Month), I created my flagship Program for more advanced actors seeking representation called Dezperate Actor 2.8 – Representation on Demand. Now, Countless of Actors get Managers, Acting Agents, Publicists, Voiceover Agents and More thanks to my help.
I created The Dezperate Actor Website (this site) in 2022 so I can provide more free information, resources and guides to more actors and actresses trying to break into the industry. Speaking of which, I also started coaching actors 1-on-1 that need guidance as well through The Dezperate Coaching but I’ve also heard of people that want to do mentorship/coaching at their own pace and I’ve created the Dezperate Actor – Coaching For Actors Program as well.
