Where did acting start

The origins of acting can be traced back to ancient civilizations, where it was used in religious rituals and ceremonies. In ancient Greece, for example, actors would perform in plays that were based on mythological stories and that were intended to entertain and educate audiences. These plays were often performed in outdoor amphitheaters, and they featured masks and costumes to help the actors convey their characters and emotions.
